Challenge & Approach
During the COVID-19 pandemic and now as our communities begin to reopen, Beverly Hospital and Quick’rCare helped patients understand that when you need medical care, you should seek treatment. Urgent Care facilities and Emergency Departments were overburdened during the heights of the crisis, which put pressure on staff to assess and triage patients quickly. When staff are overwhelmed with admissions and assessments, that can be dealt with by other departments, their ability to spend time with the higher acuity patients who need them most is hindered.
Quick’rCare’s partnership with Beverly before and during the pandemic allowed the staff to triage patients before they arrive and reduce wait times to improve health outcomes.,
In working with Quick’rCare scheduling solution, Beverly Hospital was able to make efficient use of the technology, in a way that better aligned with the current state of healthcare, given the pandemic. Quick’rCare maintains ongoing strategic conversations and engagement with the Beverly Hospital administrators to help them continue leveraging technology to better patient access and care.
The future of urgent and emergency healthcare will rely on solutions such as Quick’rCare. that will empower every healthcare facility and help patients to access care.
Quick’rCare allows patients into this most important urgent care resource. We are collaborating with our partners to develop patient engagement applications with self-assessment, navigation, and referral capabilities, which will allow patients to guide themselves to the most appropriate community and acute services.
Quick’rCare has booked over 30,000 vaccine appointments with the average appointment to visit lead time is 51 hours. The platform has 39% of patients reporting feedback on their reactions to the vaccine within 1-21 days of their visit. Using a proprietary algorithm, the Quick’rCare vaccine scheduling platform has a 1:1 ratio of vaccine supply to appointment slots.
